How to Apply for County Extension Positions

1. If there is a requisition number associated with a position, you must apply online through the UF Gator Jobs website, and, follow the instructions to applicants.

   HOW TO APPLY

   • Letter of intent that describes how your experience and qualifications have prepared you for this position. (Previous applicants are only required to send a letter of intent when applying for a position.)
   • Florida Cooperative Extension Application (.doc 182KB) - copies also available by contacting the IFAS Human Resources Office (352) 392-4777
   • Current resume

   Arrange for official transcripts to be sent directly from your college/university to our IFAS Personnel Affairs Office. (You can include photocopies for consideration; however, official transcripts will be required before employment.)

   Arrange for at least three (3) Reference Rating Forms to be sent on your behalf.
